This course has been designed to introduce you to the fun, expressive and energetic subject of abstract painting.
Course content: based on florals you will be shown how to mix a range of colour palettes. We will explore calming, exciting and monochromatic colour schemes. You will then be guided through a range of traditional and non traditional painting techniques and processes using acrylic paint. Including painting with a stick and using card board as a paint brush! During the final session you will produce a finished abstract painting on canvas.
Equipment: the majority of equipment will be supplied but please bring along the following - 2B pencil, sharpener, rubber, wide paint brushes 0.5in and 2in.
