Course Type: Just for Fun
A basic introduction to Manx Law covering areas that people may encounter in their everyday life. We'll look at where to find the law and how in some aspects Manx Law is different from English Law. The workshop will explain the legal system and give an overview of the courts and where you might go for help with legal problems. We'll then look at some specific areas, such as consumer protection, employment rights, small claims and inheritance. Tutor: Mr C Callow
