POTTERY & CERAMICS
Ceramics is an exceptionally wide ranging craft/art to study and should be considered as a life long learning process.
Both courses offer the students an opportunity to learn new techniques and processes to further develop their own style in ceramics and pottery whilst learning and adhering to the health and safety aspects of all materials and equipment used.
After assimilating the basic skills on the beginners course the Intermediate and Advanced Ceramic Courses offer the opportunity to develop and refine those skills and introduce many new processes and techniques to the students.

Surface decoration techniques using lino cuts, dry point aluminium plates, textiles, wallpapers, rubber printing plates and stencils.
Glaze application using wax resist, latex resist, masking tape etc.
Producing clay slips with varied uses.
