In this class, we’ll start from the basics, teaching you how to thread a sewing machine and wind the bobbin. You’ll practice sewing straight lines, curves and corners, while also learning about seam allowances, different types of seams and their functions as well as techniques for finishing edges and hemming. Throughout the session, you’ll apply your newly acquired skills to create a small project and you’ll leave with samples of various techniques for future reference.
Equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you have some. Tutor: Amy Callister
