This interactive course is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to fly drones safely and responsibly.
Participants will learn about the rules and regulations of flying drones on the Isle of Man. They will understand the legal requirements, operating restrictions, and safety guidelines to ensure responsible drone flight.
Practical exercises will allow them to gain familiarity with the controller and its functions. Basic manoeuvres like take-off, landing, hovering, and directional changes will also be covered.
The three-hour course will cover both theoretical and practical lessons on drone operation, including key topics such as: Local Legal and Regulatory Knowledge, Safety Procedures and Basic Practical Flying Skills.
Upon finishing the course, participants will be awarded with a certificate of completion, verifying their competence in both theoretical and practical aspects of drone operation. The Isle of Man Civil Aviation Administration have stated that the course has been reviewed and accepted
