Seeing is the key to drawing, in this class you will be taught how look, and then to make accurate representations of what you see. Together we will go through the basic elements of drawing, line, tone, form, perspective. Through breaking down drawing into elements, we can build our knowledge and skills week on week, becoming more competent and confident as we progress. The techniques will bring life, weight and perspective to your drawing. This introduction to drawing will benefit you in all other aspect of your creative interests from painting to sewing, to garden design. Equipment you need to bring - 2B pencil, small craft knife, 30cm ruler, paper - some old wallpaper, or lining paper, cut into sheets for warm up exercises, A3 sketch pad.
